Leicester City player assessments thus far as Wout Faes and three summer acquisitions take the lead

The new signings, have made quite an impression at the King Power Stadium this summer. They have been Leicester City’s standout performers so far this season, displaying great skills and composure on the field. However, some of Enzo Maresca’s regular players have failed to meet expectations.

According to the ratings given by LeicestershireLive readers, Faes’ exceptional defensive displays and Hermansen’s calm demeanor have really caught the eye. Interestingly, Abdul Fatawu, despite only making one appearance, has the highest score due to his promising performance.

Other recent additions to the team, Cesare Casadei and Harry Winks, have also been highly rated for their impact off the bench and consistent performances in the midfield respectively.

On the flip side, the performances of Yunus Akgun, Vestergaard, and Dewsbury-Hall have been underwhelming in their first few matches for City. Vestergaard’s defensive fragilities and Dewsbury-Hall’s lackluster displays have affected their overall ratings.

In addition, Wilfred Ndidi, who is still adjusting to a new position, and Kelechi Iheanacho, who has yet to score a goal in the Championship, find themselves towards the bottom of the ratings.

As the season resumes later this week, it remains to be seen who will emerge as City’s best performer in the first seven games. It is clear that certain players need to improve to enhance their averages. Share your thoughts and opinions on City’s players in the comments section below.
