Agent of Real Madrid star will approach Tottenham Hotspur ahead of January.

According to reports from The Sun, Toni Kroos’ representatives are planning to explore options with several Premier League clubs, including Tottenham, if Real Madrid fails to extend the player’s contract in the near future.

Kroos has undoubtedly left a legendary mark at Madrid, achieving great success with the club by clinching four Champions League titles and three La Liga titles since his move from Bayern Munich in 2014.

However, with the 33-year-old’s current deal expiring next summer, doubts have arisen regarding his immediate future. The Sun suggests that Kroos’ representatives are anxiously waiting to see if Los Blancos will offer him a new contract. If the Spanish giants fail to do so before the end of the year, the German midfielder may consider a move to the Premier League in January, as he has expressed a desire to experience English football.

The report highlights that if Real Madrid does not initiate contract negotiations soon, Kroos’ representatives will reach out to several English clubs, including Spurs, Chelsea, Arsenal, and both Manchester clubs.

Despite having previously worked with Pep Guardiola at Bayern Munich, the article states that Tottenham appears to be a more probable destination for Kroos in January.

Interestingly, The Sun suggests that Carlo Ancelotti’s side would be willing to accept a “nominal fee” for Kroos in January if a new contract is not offered to him.

Although Kroos’ experience and quality would undoubtedly enhance any squad he joins, the signing does not align with the profile of players Tottenham has targeted, particularly under manager Postecoglou, who prefers nurturing young, emerging talents rather than established superstars.
