Confirmed-Injury:£75k/week Leicester City star to miss Leeds United clash this Friday

Leeds United are set to face a formidable challenge this Friday as they travel to Leicester City, who currently sit atop the table. However, the hosts will have to manage without their talented midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, who is sidelined due to injury.

Leeds, who have already secured a victory against Ipswich Town this season, now confront the team that occupies the coveted automatic promotion spots. Leicester City have made a remarkable start to life back in the Championship, winning 13 out of their 14 matches and establishing a comfortable 14-point lead over Leeds.

Enzo Maresca, much like Daniel Farke, is fortunate to have a deep squad that has remained largely intact even after relegation. Ndidi, a Nigerian international, has been a key figure for Leicester this season, excelling in a more advanced role. Unfortunately for the Foxes, the influential midfielder will be sidelined until the next international break, ruling him out of the clash against Leeds at the King Power Stadium.

According to reports from the Leicester Mercury, Ndidi’s absence is expected to be for a number of weeks, with a potential return to action only after the November international break. The loss of Ndidi is undoubtedly a blow for the Foxes, comparable to us losing one of our own midfielders. However, Leicester still have quality options to fill the void.

Cesare Casadei, on loan from Chelsea, has been stepping in and has proven to be a capable replacement. Therefore, Leicester fans may not be too concerned about the absence of Ndidi, knowing they have adequate cover to maintain their impressive form.
