INJURY: TWO TOTTENHAM KEY PLAYERS INJURY CONFIRMED- RULED OUT UNTIL JANUARY

Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou has shared disappointing injury updates, revealing that Micky van de Ven and James Maddison are likely to be sidelined until January due to hamstring and ankle injuries, respectively. Alongside this, defenders Cristian Romero and Destiny Udogie were sent off in Monday’s 4-1 defeat to Chelsea, leaving Postecoglou deprived of key players for the upcoming match against Wolves.

Reflecting on Monday’s tumultuous game, Postecoglou noted the unusual nature of having two players sent off and two others injured in addition to nine VAR interventions in the first half alone. He suggested that this stop-and-start pattern of play could contribute to more injuries among the players.

Despite the significant absences, Postecoglou affirmed that he will not make tactical adjustments, stating his confidence in the depth and versatility of the squad. He expressed the need for other players to step up and seize the opportunity to contribute to the team in the absence of their injured teammates.
