‘Incredible’ 26-year-old Leicester player wanted by Nottingham Forest this summer now eyed by Tottenham and Xavi

The injured Leicester City midfielder has caught the attention of clubs ahead of the upcoming January transfer window. Nottingham Forest had their eyes on Wilfred Ndidi as a transfer target during the summer, but now both Barcelona and Tottenham are considering making a move for him.

Although Ndidi was a target for Forest before they signed Ibrahim Sangare, they have since shifted their focus to other players. According to reports from Punch Sports in Nigeria, Tottenham is now eyeing Ndidi, who has been a regular in the Leicester team this season, making 15 appearances, scoring three goals, and claiming four assists.

Despite interest from top clubs, Forest will be keeping an eye on Ndidi’s situation. However, they may wait to make a move if they can secure him for free next summer when his contract with Leicester is set to end. Ndidi would have familiar faces at Forest, as he knows Taiwo Awoniyi and Ola Aina from their time playing together for the Nigerian national team.

Brendan Rodgers, the manager who once called Ndidi ‘incredible,’ would likely endorse any move that the midfielder makes. Ultimately, Forest may choose to wait and see how the situation unfolds before deciding on their next move.
