Preston North End is looking to sign Liverpool defender Jarell Quansah in January, but Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has indicated that a move is unlikely. Quansah has been gaining first-team experience at Anfield and has attracted interest from Preston and Leicester City. Although Preston has had success with loan deals with Liverpool in the past, Klopp seems hesitant to let Quansah go during the January window. With injuries plaguing Liverpool’s senior centre-back options, Klopp sees Quansah as a key part of his plans for the season. Unless Liverpool decides to bolster their defensive options in January, it seems Quansah will remain at Anfield.
