Leicester City is reportedly preparing a move to sign Lucas Beraldo from São Paulo. UOL states that the Foxes are getting ready to offer up to €20m for the player. São Paulo has already made it clear that they won’t consider any offers lower than that amount. It’s been reported that the Foxes’ representatives scouted Beraldo in a recent match against Red Bull Bragantino and were impressed with his performance. São Paulo is looking to sell players before the end of the year, and Beraldo is one of their most sought-after players. In the past few months, Beraldo has been linked to other clubs such as Brighton & Hove Albion, Liverpool, Newcastle United, and Wolverhampton Wanderers. This puts pressure on Leicester City to make a strong bid if they want to secure the player before the end of the Brazilian season, as they may have a better chance if they move quickly.
