Tottenham ‘reject’ approach for former Leicester City man

Swansea City made an unsuccessful attempt to speak with Chris Davies, former assistant manager of Leicester City, about taking over as head coach at the Liberty Stadium. This came after Swansea parted ways with Michael Duff, leaving them in 18th place in the Championship table. Davies, who previously worked with Brendan Rodgers at Leicester and Swansea, had joined Tottenham Hotspur as an assistant manager earlier in the year. Despite the interest from Swansea, Tottenham declined the approach, seeing Davies as a crucial part of their future plans. Davies has reunited with his former Leicester City player, James Maddison, who has performed well at Tottenham but is currently out of action due to injury.
