However, given his regular playing time under David Moyes and his long-term contract, it would seem illogical to sell him. The potential replacement, Dan-Axel Zagadou of Stuttgart, would come with a high price and may not necessarily be an improvement over Aguerd as a defender. Therefore, it appears more sensible for West Ham to keep Aguerd rather than seek a replacement, as their need for strengthening lies in other positions.
