Leeds United is eager to bounce back from a lackluster home draw with Coventry City by taking on promotion rivals Ipswich Town at Elland Road this Saturday. With a potential league double over Ipswich and a chance to close the gap on the automatic promotion places, there’s a lot at stake for the Whites. Ipswich Town, however, arrives at Elland Road in good form, having lost only twice in the Championship this season and getting 13 points from their last 15. With a match against table-topping Leicester City on Boxing Day, it could be a crucial period for Ipswich in their push for promotion. Pundit Andy Hinchcliffe believes the game against Leeds is more important for Ipswich, as it could keep them a fair number of points behind Leicester. He also notes that Ipswich has proven their ability in previous games and that both Leeds and Leicester should be wary of facing them.
