WEST HAM PLAYER TEMPTED BY LYON MOVE

Reportedly, West Ham United’s Saïd Benrahma is being enticed by a potential move to Ligue 1 strugglers Olympique Lyonnais. L’Équipe has reported Lyon’s interest in the Algerian winger, with the club having been given the go-ahead to recruit in January and willing to spend up to €50m. Benrahma has quickly become a key target and Lyon have been in discussions with the player’s representatives, with Benrahma expressing some temptation at the prospect of a move to the Groupama Stadium.

In addition to Benrahma, Lyon are also on the lookout for another winger and have their eyes on Almeria’s Largie Ramazani. Lyon had shown interest in Benrahma’s West Ham teammate Nayef Aguerd as well, but it now seems unlikely that they will be able to secure his signing. As a result, Lyon are exploring other options in the centre-back position.
