According to ITK Fabrizio Romano, the club was reportedly close to finalizing a £10 million deal with Ligue One, but this is not true. West Ham has denied that Thilo Kehrer will sign a permanent deal with Monaco this winter. Instead, they are still in talks with Monaco about a loan deal, with the hope of making it permanent in the summer. Kehrer has been rumored to be on his way out of the London Stadium after failing to meet expectations, and although he was expected to move to Germany, Monaco seems to have secured his services. Despite only making four Premier League appearances this season, up to 10 clubs have shown interest in the 27-year-old. Our source refuted Romano’s claim, stating, “That is not the case. We are involved in ongoing discussions, but only as a loan that has every chance of being made permanent in the summer.”
