PERSONAL TERMS AGREED: SPURS closing in on Newcastle target – Fabrizio Romano reveals

In October, the defender’s representative, stated that Newcastle had been closely monitoring the Romanian player, with Fabrizio Romano also confirming that their scouts had been watching him in Serie A action.

Then in November, his agent confirmed talks with Newcastle, Arsenal, and Spurs ahead of the January transfer window and it seems that the latter are close to securing his signature.

For the last few months, there have been persistent rumors linking Genoa center-back Radu Dragusin to a potential move to St James’ Park.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the player has agreed to ‘personal terms’ with Tottenham, and the two clubs are still in negotiations with hopes of finalizing a deal ‘very soon.’

It’s unclear if Dragusin was a top target for Newcastle or just one of many center-backs they were considering, but it appears that he will be joining North London this month, not Newcastle.
