In an interview live on Sky Sports, Paul Merson shared his belief that Leeds United needs to improve their away form in order to have a shot at automatic promotion. He pointed to the difference in atmosphere between Elland Road and their away games as a key factor, suggesting that they need to take more risks and play with the same energy and tempo on the road as they do at home. Merson’s analysis was echoed by host Julian Warren, who highlighted Leeds’ impressive home record compared to their struggles on the road. Despite facing a tough challenge, Merson and Warren both agree that if Leeds can find a way to improve their away form, they still have a chance to compete for promotion.
