LEICESTER CITY IN DEMAND OF 21-YEAR-OLD PREMIER LEAGUE WINGER AMIDST INTEREST FROM SUNDERLAND- Player’s future uncertain

Following a successful loan spell at Sunderland where he notched up an impressive 14 goals and played a pivotal role in guiding the team to the playoffs, the young talent returned to Manchester United for the 2023/24 season. However, he faced a setback due to an injury sustained in July 2023, which sidelined him from action. His return to the pitch took place in the club’s final game of the year against Nottingham Forest, marking his first appearance in over two years for United.

The future of Amad Diallo, the 21-year-old winger, hangs in the balance as interest swirls around his potential departure from Old Trafford. Former loan club Sunderland and Championship contenders Leicester have emerged as potential suitors, casting uncertainty over his continuation at Manchester United. With his current contract valid until 2025, the Red Devils are yet to determine the player’s next move, raising the possibility of another loan stint or a permanent transfer in the upcoming January window. Reports from HITC suggest that Sunderland is eager to bring back the winger, while Leicester City is also weighing the option of making a bid for his services.

Owing to his limited playing time this season due to his knee injury, he has missed out on selection for the Ivory Coast’s final squad for the forthcoming African Cup of Nations.
