GOOD NEWS: Star Midfielder set to return for AC Milan clash against Empoli

Following a muscle injury sustained against Newcastle in the December Champions League match, the Rossoneri midfielder is primed to make a comeback on the weekend. He was photographed at training on Thursday and is expected to be fully fit for the upcoming game.

Musah has missed the last four matches for Milan, but fortunately for him, the team is on a remarkable streak. They have gone unbeaten in their last five matches across all competitions, scoring 12 goals while conceding only 5. With the return of the 21-year-old midfielder, Stefano Pioli will have more options in the center of the pitch.

Having joined Milan from Valencia last August, Musah has made 18 appearances for the team this season, starting in 12 of the matches.

The upcoming match against Empoli will take place on Sunday, and looking ahead, Milan won’t be back in European action until February when they face Gio Reyna and Dortmund in the Champions League. They will also return to Coppa Italia action against Atalanta on January 10, followed by a crucial Serie A match against Jose Mourinho’s Roma four days later.
