Long anticipated & ‘Incredible’ 19-year-old youngster now spotted in first-team training ahead of Tottenham vs Burnley FA Cup clash

Tottenham’s rising star, has been seen training with the first team in preparation for Spurs’ upcoming FA Cup encounter against Burnley.

The teenage (Dane Scarlett)forward recently made a return to the North London club following the premature termination of his loan spell with Championship team Ipswich Town. Scarlett’s stint with Ipswich was curtailed due to his limited playing time, managing a mere 189 minutes in total for the Tractor Boys. Subsequently, the talented young striker has re-joined Tottenham and is now in contention to make an impact.

According to Lilywhite Rose on Twitter, the 19-year-old has been observed back in first-team training at Hotspur Way, as Tottenham gears up to face Burnley in the FA Cup.

Previously hailed as an ‘incredible’ prospect by Jose Mourinho, there is a real possibility that Scarlett may feature for Tottenham in the upcoming cup fixture.

It’s evident that Ange Postecoglou holds the teenage sensation in high regard, and the Australian coach may be inclined to provide Scarlett with some valuable playing time if the young talent is prepared to return to action.

While Scarlett’s progression may not have matched the initial lofty expectations, he still has much to demonstrate at the senior level. Given this, Tottenham should be open to affording Scarlett an opportunity in the FA Cup showdown against Burnley.

As we are aware, Postecoglou takes pride in offering opportunities to young players, and the former Celtic manager might just provide Scarlett with a platform this weekend.

Securing playing time against a Premier League side holds immense significance for the teenager, and a strong performance could potentially pave the way for Scarlett to secure another loan move this January, as consistent game time remains pivotal for his development.
