Leicester City goalkeeper Daniel Iversen is reportedly in advanced talks to join Stoke City on loan until the end of the season. Iversen has lost his place in the Leicester squad under manager Enzo Maresca and has not seen any playing time this season. Stoke have been interested in Iversen since the summer and it looks like a potential loan deal is in the works. The move comes after Stoke’s loan goalkeeper Mark Travers was recalled by parent club Bournemouth in October. Iversen has proven himself in the Championship during previous loan spells with Preston North End, making a total of 69 appearances and keeping 22 clean sheets. Despite a brief stint as Leicester’s first-choice goalkeeper last season, the signing of Mads Hermansen and a squad overhaul has pushed Iversen down the pecking order at the King Power Stadium.
