SAD NEWS- INJURY SPELL: LEICESTER CITY playmaker out for 3 month

Leicester City’s manager, Enzo Maresca, delivered disappointing news about injuries ahead of the anticipated game against Millwall. He revealed that both midfielder Wilfred Ndidi and forward Kelechi Iheanacho will be sidelined.

Maresca disclosed in a press conference at Seagrave that Ndidi is dealing with a significant muscle injury and is expected to be out for up to three months, likely ruling him out of the Africa Cup of Nations. As a replacement, Alhassan Yusuf from Royal Antwerp has been called up.

Regarding Iheanacho, Maresca confirmed that he is still recovering and not fit for competitive play, meaning he will also miss the FA Cup clash against Millwall.

Despite the setbacks, Leicester City currently leads the Championship standings by a commanding 10 points, indicating their strong position for a return to the Premier League.
