NEGOTIATIONS IN PROGRESS: Fabrizio Romano reveals update on Tottenham’s important signing

Fabrizio Romano has disclosed that negotiations between Tottenham Hotspur and Genoa for Radu Dragusin will continue through the weekend as both clubs work to resolve their differences.

While it was initially reported that Spurs were hoping to finalize the Dragusin deal by the end of last week, they have not been able to do so. Despite this, the Premier League side remains confident in their pursuit of the Romanian defender, and are unconcerned about competition from Napoli, according to Sky Sports’ Lyall Thomas.

Romano has confirmed that talks between the English and Italian clubs have resumed and Dragusin has already agreed to personal terms with Spurs. Genoa is still holding out for a fee of €30m (£26m), expected to be formalized by an official offer from Tottenham.

With Ben Davies now injured, it is even more urgent for Tottenham to secure the Dragusin deal, as he would likely have to start at Old Trafford next Sunday.
