TERMS AGREED: Player’s exit confirmed- Leicester City holding off

Leicester City is not letting midfielder go just yet, as they are holding off on any potential transfer until the end of January with player ( Dennis Praet). Despite this, two clubs are still very interested in making a deal.

According to reports from Voetbalkrant and journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Belgian side Antwerp is already in talks with Leicester about acquiring Praet. However, Tavolieri has stated that a transfer is not possible in the immediate future, as Leicester is not willing to take any risks and wants to keep Praet to cover absences during the Africa Cup of Nations.

In addition to Antwerp’s interest, Italian side Torino is also keen on Praet, as he previously played on loan with them during the 2021/22 season. It seems that Praet is more inclined to take this option rather than returning to Belgium.

For now, Leicester City is standing firm in their decision to hold on to Praet, but it is clear that he is a name to keep an eye on as the month progresses.
