James Maddison declares that there is one eternal fact about Leicester City that will never alter, following his unusual appearance.

Leicester City’s latest news has former midfielder James Maddison praising his former teammate Marc Albrighton following their FA Cup win over Millwall.

Albrighton’s assist with a signature cross during the game caught the attention of Maddison, his former teammate of five years before Maddison’s £40 million move to Tottenham last summer.

After midfielder Cesare Casadei scored off of an Albrighton cross in the 16th minute, Maddison shared a clip of the goal on his Instagram story with the caption: “Marc Albrighton putting things on a plate for people. Some things will never change,” along with a heart emoji and a thumbs-up.

Despite Maddison’s own success, with three goals and five assists in the 11 Premier League appearances he made this season before his injury, he remains sidelined. Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou stated: “[Maddison] is not training with us yet. As I’ve said before, until they train with us it’s hard for me to put a timeline on it. He’s running with a sports science crew but not with us. He’s not likely to be with us for the next couple of weeks.”
