Fabrizio Romano has given an update on Djed Spence’s future following his early departure from his loan spell at Leeds United. The expert tweeted on Sunday that Tottenham is looking to loan Spence out again after Leeds activated a break clause in his loan deal. Romano also stated that Spence is expected to leave Tottenham Hotspur Stadium “in the next days.” Spence, who struggled with injuries at Leeds, was expected to play a bigger role in the second half of the season but is now back at Tottenham. It’s unclear where Spence will go next, but it’s possible he may be loaned to another Championship club in an attempt to revitalize his career. Despite his struggles, there is potential for Spence to make an impact in the second tier with a new club.
