THIS TRANSFER DEAL WILL CHANGE WEST HAM

Hugo Guillemet, the journalist who broke the news of Lucas Paqueta’s transfer, now claims that talks are underway for a Said Benrahma deal that could shake up West Ham’s transfer window.

West Ham fans often struggle to separate fact from fiction during transfer windows, but Guillemet’s track record with the Hammers has earned him credibility. He was the first to report on Paqueta’s potential move to West Ham in the summer of 2022.

Now, Guillemet’s latest revelation about Benrahma has caught the attention of fans. As West Ham aims to be active in the January transfer window, they must first make space in the squad and raise funds through player sales. With Thilo Kehrer already heading to Monaco, Lyon is now in talks to sign Benrahma from West Ham.

It was previously reported that Lyon was interested in both Benrahma and Nayef Aguerd, and it seems that Benrahma’s move could become a reality.

According to Guillemet, Lyon’s sporting director is prioritizing negotiations for Benrahma and another player, with the potential for further attacking reinforcements. West Ham is looking to raise around £20m from Benrahma’s sale, which could kickstart the Hammers’ transfer activity and bring their window to life. Benrahma is seen as the most valuable asset among West Ham’s fringe players, and his sale could open the door for new signings under the management of Tim Steidten and David Moyes.
