Leicester City is reportedly in discussion with Inter Milan midfielder Stefano Sensi as they aim to solidify their position at the top of the Championship table, where they currently lead by ten points. This move could see Sensi join the Foxes on a permanent basis, as negotiations with Inter continue. The 28-year-old midfielder has struggled to find regular playing time at Inter, making only four appearances this season, and his contract is set to expire this summer. With the arrival of Enzo Maresca as manager last year, Leicester managed to secure the loan signing of Cesare Casadei from Chelsea, and it is believed that Maresca’s influence may play a role in the potential addition of Sensi to the squad. Meanwhile, fellow promotion rivals Ipswich Town have made some acquisitions during this transfer window, while Leeds United, trailing Leicester by 17 points, are yet to make any new signings.
