Leeds United are reportedly eyeing a loan move for West Ham’s Ben Johnson to bolster their defensive options after letting Djed Spence and Luke Ayling leave Elland Road this month.
Johnson, who has struggled for game time at West Ham, has made 93 appearances for the club, with two goals and two assists to his name. However, the 23-year-old has slipped down the pecking order and is out of contract at the end of the season.
With Leeds potentially interested in bringing the versatile full-back to Elland Road, they are also considering Nottingham Forest’s Neco Williams and Burnley’s Connor Roberts as alternatives. Williams is said to be reluctant to leave Forest, while Roberts has fallen behind in the pecking order at Burnley.
