DONE DEAL: Tottenham set to make 3rd signing in January: player eager to move-Over £30m official bid

Reports suggest that Tottenham Hotspur is aiming for a triple whammy of new signings in the upcoming January transfer window.

Having already added Timo Werner to their attacking lineup and secured Radu Dragusin for their defense, Spurs are now setting their sights on a new midfielder to strengthen their squad further.

Rumors in the Brazilian outlet Fla Web claim that Tottenham is eyeing Joao Gomes from Wolverhampton Wanderers and are preparing to make a bid for him in the near future. Gomes, who was signed by Wolves just a year ago for £15 million, is reportedly valued at no less than £30 million.

If Tottenham is successful in acquiring Gomes, they would be securing a promising talent with proven Premier League experience. Gomes, known for his tenacious playing style and impressive tackling abilities, has already made 31 appearances for Wolves, including 29 in the English top flight.

Described as a unique player with a mix of qualities that include being a midfield destroyer, a playmaker, and a box-to-box midfielder, Gomes could be a valuable addition to the Spurs lineup. While Wolves have a strong position in negotiations, they may be willing to entertain offers given their comfortable position in the mid-table standings.

As the transfer window approaches, it will be interesting to see if Tottenham can secure Gomes and add another significant name to their roster.
