DONE DEAL-NEGOTIATIONS ALREADY TOOK PLACE:£53k per week playmaker set for exit: Fabrizio Romano reveals

The talented Tottenham Hotspur playmaker, is anticipated to depart the club on loan in the upcoming January transfer window, as reported by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. There has been interest from many clubs, including Brentford, in the 27-year-old Spaniard, and negotiations have already occurred, with the player set to make the final decision.

Reguilon, who currently earns around £53k-per-week, will weigh his options but is expected to seek a move away from the club in January. While he is under contract with Spurs until 2025, it seems unlikely that he has a future there.

Having previously spent time on loan at Atletico Madrid and Manchester United, where he made 12 appearances without much impact, it is clear that the defender may be surplus to requirements under manager Ange Postecoglou. Another loan move seems to be the best option for him, with Brentford possibly being a good fit.

With recent signings of Timo Werner and Radu Dragusin, as well as an interest in a midfielder like Conor Gallagher, it is clear that Spurs are looking to make room for new additions by offloading fringe players like Reguilon.
