ANNOUNCEMENT: Leicester City transfer latest: Stefano Sensi update, Jack Clarke move questioned, Sunderland eye defender

Leicester City are showing promising signs of making a swift return to the Premier League. Despite having a relatively inexperienced new manager in Enzo Maresca, the Foxes have excelled in the second tier and have maintained their position as the leaders. Although they suffered a setback in their recent loss to Coventry City, they are still in a comfortable lead at the top of the table.

In terms of transfers, Leicester’s potential interest in Inter Milan’s Stefano Sensi has been discussed, but obstacles exist due to financial issues. However, Maresca is eager to bring Sensi on board, and the player is also keen on the move. Similarly, there is talk of Leicester’s interest in Sunderland’s Jack Clarke, but pundit Carlton Palmer believes it would be more likely for Clarke to join a Premier League club in the summer.

On the other side, Sunderland has identified Leicester’s left-back Luke Thomas as a potential target to strengthen their defense, following injuries in that area. Thomas had a short loan spell at Sheffield United during which he made a significant impact, and now Sunderland is looking to bring him in for the remainder of the season to bolster their squad.
