Bad news for Harry Souttar

Leicester City suffered a loss to Coventry City in their last game but are still at the top of the Championship table. They are set to face off against second-placed Ipswich Town on Monday.

As Leicester continues to pursue Joe Worrall from Nottingham Forest, it spells trouble for Harry Souttar who has been sidelined for much of the season. Worrall has been linked to both West Ham United and Leicester City and now, with the financial troubles of Nottingham Forest, it is more likely that he will be transferred.

Both Leicester and West Ham are showing interest in Worrall, with Nuno Espirito Santo’s arrival further complicating the situation. With Forest captain Worrall’s playing time fluctuating under previous management, West Ham seems keen on adding him to their squad. Meanwhile, Maresca has a strong defensive pairing but doesn’t seem content to stop there.

If Leicester does indeed secure Worrall, it’s bad news for Souttar who has struggled to find playing time since arriving from Stoke City. Former coach Steve Cooper gave him a few chances but Maresca’s squad has plenty of depth. It seems that Souttar’s future lies elsewhere, with a potential move to Saudi club Al Nassr becoming a more viable option.
