Leicester City’s loan of extraordinary wonderkid has been cut short by Chelsea, with a deal to bring in Stefano Sensi from Inter Milan now in the works. Although Casadei, enjoyed a strong first half of the season at King Power Stadium, Chelsea has informed Leicester of his return to London. Stefano Sensi, who offers more experience than Casadei, is set to take his place under Leicester’s head coach, Enzo Maresca. Sensi, who was with Inter Milan and boasts nine caps for Italy, would be a significant addition to the Leicester squad, even as the club looks likely to return to the Premier League. The cost to bring Sensi to Leicester could be far less than the amount Inter paid for him, with reports suggesting a fee of £1.7 million. Meanwhile, Chelsea has yet to decide where Casadei will play for the remainder of the season.
