TRANSFER REPORT: Spurs set to secure deal with Championship star for a whopping transfer fee- player ready to move

In his SportsLens column, journalist Dean Jones has suggested that Tottenham may be considering a move for Blackburn Rovers prospect Adam Wharton if they are unable to secure Conor Gallagher. Wharton, who made his mark in Blackburn’s starting lineup last season, has attracted interest from several Premier League teams due to his solid performances.

Despite previous reports of Tottenham’s interest in Wharton, Football Insider recently indicated that Blackburn does not plan to release the 19-year-old during the current transfer window. Consequently, negotiations for Gallagher have stalled, prompting Jones to propose that Tottenham pursue an early deal for Wharton before the transfer window closes.

According to Jones, a bid of roughly £10m could be sufficient to bring Wharton to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. However, it is unclear whether Wharton is being seen as a direct replacement for Gallagher, who is viewed as someone capable of having an immediate impact on the team’s starting lineup.
