TRANSFER BATTLE: Arsenal, Liverpool & Tottenham battle for €50m Bundesliga ace; Arteta also battling Postecoglou for La Liga ace

Liverpool is no longer the sole Premier League club pursuing Bayern Munich ace Leroy Sane. Reports indicate that Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are now also in the mix, with Mikel Arteta and Ange Postecoglou competing for the La Liga livewire.

Sane spent four successful years with Manchester City after his £46.5 million move from FC Schalke 04, contributing 39 goals and 46 assists in 135 games. He played a key role in City’s two Premier League titles, one FA Cup, and two League Cups before joining Bayern.

The 28-year-old winger has formed a strong partnership with Harry Kane, recording nine goals and 11 assists in 26 games for Bayern so far this season. Liverpool has been heavily linked with Sane, but now Arsenal and Tottenham have also joined the race for his signature.

With Sane’s contract set to expire in 2025, English clubs are actively monitoring his situation and could make bids if he becomes available. Both Arsenal and Tottenham are also vying for Real Sociedad’s Takefusa Kubo, who has turned down a move to Saudi Arabia in favor of playing at the highest level possible. The 22-year-old is attracting interest from several European clubs, but could be enticed by a move to the Premier League with the guidance of Arteta and Postecoglou. Sociedad are likely to make a significant profit if they decide to sell Kubo, who is now valued at £51m.
