TRANSFER RADAR: 23-year-old Talented midfielder on Tottenham’s transfer radar

The Daily Mail’s Sami Mokbel has disclosed that Tottenham has been keeping an eye on Morgan Gibbs-White for some time now, but Nottingham Forest is not willing to sell the midfielder during the current transfer window.

Reports have been circulating recently about Spurs’ interest in Gibbs-White, who has been performing well at the City Ground. However, there are indications that Forest may not be keen on letting go of the 23-year-old in the middle of the season.

The Times mentioned a few days ago that Nuno Espirito Santo’s team values the young player at over £50m. The club’s reluctance to part with their talented midfielder has been attributed to the need to generate funds after being charged with alleged violations of the Premier League’s financial rules.

In light of this, Mokbel confirmed that Tottenham has a genuine interest in Gibbs-White but expressed doubt that Forest would agree to his sale during the current transfer window.

Given the financial challenges facing Forest, it is possible that there could be potential for Gibbs-White’s sale this month. With the Midlands club’s situation, it would not be surprising if Daniel Levy decides to make a bid for the 23-year-old.
