Financial constraints have limited Premier League spending this winter, but Daniel Levy’s uncharacteristic flexibility has allowed an active window for Tottenham. With Ange Postecoglou at the helm, Levy has his first long-term project manager since Mauricio Pochettino. The once apathetic N17 area is now filled with optimism, and Levy’s apparent support of Postecoglou is quieting the more aggressive fans. While Tottenham’s January signings so far may not be game-changers, the potential addition of 18-year-old Antonio Nusa has fans excited. Nusa is touted for superstardom, and could be a significant part of the Postecoglou era. With Timo Werner signed on loan as a short-term fix for Son Heung-min, Nusa could be the long-term solution to fill Son’s eventual decline. Nusa’s dribbling skills and swift change of direction make him a promising addition to Tottenham’s attacking lineup. Tottenham is reportedly interested in signing Nusa this winter, with discussions ongoing and a potential fee of £25m being the main obstacle.
