Wharton is a talented midfielder with excellent ball control and the ability to handle pressure, making him a sought-after prospect. However, his contract with Blackburn runs until 2028, so the club may demand a higher transfer fee. Despite competition from Newcastle United and Everton, Tottenham’s willingness to spend big this January could make Wharton their third signing of the window.
