A surprising turn of events as Crystal Palace enters the race, with both West Ham United and Aston Villa pursuing the transfer of Norwich City’s top player.

Crystal Palace, along with West Ham and Aston Villa, have expressed interest in signing Norwich City attacking midfielder Jonathan Rowe, as reported by HITC.

According to the news outlet on 27 January, West Ham have already inquired about the 20-year-old’s services.

Rowe has had an outstanding season, recording 13 goals and three assists in 31 games in all competitions. His ability to lead the line as an attacking midfielder, as well as his goal-scoring and playmaking prowess, have been on full display.

With his potential for development at just 20 years old, he is a promising prospect for any club’s long-term plans. However, the competition from Crystal Palace and Aston Villa could complicate negotiations for his signing and potentially drive up his price.

Norwich may also be reluctant to part ways with one of their key players mid-season, which could further complicate any potential transfer fee.

Given the underwhelming performance of Said Benrahma, West Ham sees Rowe as an ideal replacement.

Whether the deal comes to fruition remains to be seen, as both Villa and Palace are closely monitoring the situation.

In other West Ham news, the Hammers have reportedly made a substantial transfer offer for an international player in January, outbidding Barcelona as Tim Steidten gets the ball rolling.
