Everton are reportedly lining up a move for West Ham winger before close of transfer window

According to reports, Everton is allegedly considering a potential move for the out-of-favor West Ham winger, Said Benrahma, ahead of the upcoming transfer window closure. The Toffees have shown a commendable resurgence after facing an early-season ten-point deduction, as they successfully navigated their way out of the relegation zone in a relatively short period of time.

Currently sitting only one point above the dangerous relegation zone, Everton is keen to solidify their position in the league and create a more substantial gap from the bottom. However, this task has become more pressing as loanee Arnaut Danjuma is reportedly on the verge of departing the club to join Ligue 1 side, Lyon. Consequently, Everton is in requirement of a replacement, and it seems that Benrahma has caught their eye.

Rumors suggest that Everton’s interest in Benrahma has been sparked due to his lack of regular playing time at West Ham, where he appears to be on the periphery of manager David Moyes’ plans. Despite making 13 appearances in the Premier League this season, Benrahma has only managed to secure one assist, prompting speculation about his future at the London club.

Adding further to the potential transfer saga, it’s believed that West Ham might be open to parting ways with Benrahma before the transfer window closes. While a permanent transfer seems to be the preference for the Hammers, it’s been suggested that they could also entertain the idea of a loan move for the 28-year-old winger.

The potential transfer of Benrahma to Everton would undoubtedly add an interesting dimension to the ongoing transfer activity in the Premier League, and it seems that the Toffees are eagerly exploring their options to enhance their squad before the window shuts.
