In 2021, Leicester won the FA Cup and placed 5th in the Premier League. However, looking back at the squad from three years prior reveals that many players have since moved on to other teams. Sidnei Tavares (22) made just two league appearances for Leicester before moving on to FC Porto, and was later loaned out to the Colorado Rapids in the MLS. Filip Benkovic was signed for £13million and had numerous loan spells before joining Udinese and then being loaned out to Trabzonspor. Caglar Soyuncu left for Atletico Madrid but has struggled to get playing time, and is set to be loaned out to Fenerbahce. Adrien Silva now plays for Al Wahda in Abu Dhabi, while Admiral Muskwe is on loan at Exeter City. Goalkeeper Eldin Jakupovic signed with Everton but has since joined Los Angeles FC in the MLS. Other players such as Josh Knight, Mitch Clark, Darnell Johnson, and many more have also left the club. Additionally, two major signings, Timothy Castagne and Wesley Fofana, have also been sold. Islam Slimani and Demarai Gray are playing in Brazil and Saudi Arabia, respectively. Despite the changes, some players like Wilfred Ndidi, Jamie Vardy, and others are still with the club.
