Stefano Sensi, the Inter Milan midfielder, is set to sign a contract with Leicester City that will run for two and a half years, ending in June 2026. This information is reported in the print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews.Although Sensi is still with Inter, it seems likely that he will be leaving the club soon after four and a half years. Leicester has been pursuing Sensi for most of the January transfer window, with coach Enzo Maresca playing a particularly active role in securing the signing of the former Sassuolo midfielder.To make room for Sensi in their squad, Leicester had to offload a player, leading to the departure of former Inter youth team midfielder Cesare Casadei, whose loan spell from Chelsea was cut short.Sensi’s transfer to Leicester is expected to be finalized in the coming days. After playing for Inter in their match against Fiorentina, he will travel to England to undergo medical examinations and sign his contract with Leicester.
