Despite Cornet’s inconsistency, he offers versatility as an attacking player, capable of playing multiple positions. With injuries and international duty impacting their squad, West Ham needs depth in the forward line.
While a sale would bring in additional funds for Forest, a loan only removes Cornet’s wages from West Ham’s payroll. The Hammers are not in a position where every penny counts, so a loan alone may not be beneficial for the club’s financial situation.
