West Ham and Brentford are looking to make some late signings in the winter transfer window. However, complications with tax issues are delaying a potential deal for Jota, and negotiations for Osman are still ongoing. In the meantime, West Ham and Brentford are both vying for the signature of highly-rated Monza forward Valentin Carboni. Both clubs have made bids around £13 million, but Inter Milan, who own the player, are holding out for at least £21 million. Despite the competition, neither club has been able to meet Carboni’s valuation so far.
