Leicester City transfer finally ‘unblocked’ – Player is moving to King Power Stadium in ‘permanent transfer’

Leicester City is on the verge of securing a deal for Inter Milan’s Stefano Sensi, with the transfer now set to go through on a permanent basis. Journalist Gianluca di Marzio and TuttoMercatoWeb both confirm that the Foxes are finally closing in on the player.

Di Marzio reveals that the negotiations between Leicester and Inter for Sensi have been unblocked, and an agreement has been reached where the Italian side will receive €2.5m if Leicester secures promotion to the Premier League. TMW supports this, stating that the deal to bring the player to Leicester is nearing completion.

According to reports, the two clubs are on the verge of reaching a final agreement, with the player set to make a permanent move. Both sources confirm the €2.5m fee, which will only be payable if Leicester achieves promotion, and Inter will also save on his salary until the end of the season.

Inter appears content with this arrangement as Sensi’s contract is expiring in the summer, and he would have left on a free transfer regardless. Despite Sensi training today, the entire transfer process is progressing rapidly, and TMW even suggests that he could depart for Leicester this evening to finalize his move.
