DONE DEAL: Crystal Palace have agreed on terms over a possible loan move for West Ham United winger

After a series of lackluster performances, Palace is determined to strengthen their team this summer in a bid to climb the Premier League table from their current 14th place position. With only six wins this season and 24 points in 22 matches, they are just six points above the relegation zone.

Initially targeting Manchester City’s Kalvin Philips, Palace was ultimately unable to secure the midfielder, who instead joined West Ham United. However, they quickly secured a £20m deal for Blackburn Rovers midfielder, Adam Wharton. Palace is now looking to bolster their attack by signing West Ham’s 27-year-old winger, Cornet, on loan.

The potential move for Cornet is dependent on West Ham securing a replacement for the Cote d’Ivoire International before the transfer deadline. Nonetheless, Palace has already shown signs of improvement with a 3-2 victory over Sheffield United, and they are determined to maintain their momentum in their upcoming match against Brighton and Hove Albion.

With the addition of Wharton and potentially Cornet, Palace hopes to remain out of the relegation zone and make a push for a stronger position in the league.
