Enzo Maresca wants Leicester City to concentrate on securing their promotion before engaging in contract talks with the players whose contracts are set to expire. With a comfortable lead in the Championship and potential to exceed 100 points, Maresca believes that discussions about the future of Jamie Vardy, Marc Albrighton, Wilfred Ndidi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Jannik Vestergaard, and Dennis Praet can wait until the team has secured their spot in the Premier League for next season. Maresca emphasized that the focus should only be on the current season, with contract discussions taking place only after Leicester’s promotion is confirmed. The manager also noted that the future of loaned players like Issahaku Fatawu, Callum Doyle, and Yunus Akgun also need to be considered when planning for the next season.
