TuttoJuve have claimed that Tottenham Hotspur have now expressed an interest in securing the services of Juventus youngster Dan Huijsen.
Juventus youth sensation Dan Huijsen has reportedly caught the attention of Premier League clubs, with Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United both expressing interest in securing the services of the highly-rated youngster. TuttoJuve has claimed that Spurs have now entered the race for Huijsen, who has been tipped as a potential first-team player at Juventus from a tender age. The 18-year-old broke into the Bianconeri’s senior side earlier this season but was subsequently loaned out to AS Roma last month to gain competitive playing time.
Huijsen has made an immediate impact at AS Roma, showcasing his qualities as a promising young defender, impressing in the Serie A matches he has played so far. His performances have not gone unnoticed, with Tottenham and Manchester United reportedly closely monitoring his progress.
Both Premier League clubs are said to be prepared to shell out €30m (£25.6m) for Huijsen, indicating their high valuation of the Dutch talent. However, TuttoJuve explains that Juventus may be reluctant to part ways with the promising prospect, given their high regard for him. Nonetheless, the financial predicament faced by the Italian giants might force their hand in considering potential transfer offers for Huijsen at the end of the season.
Juventus would ideally want to retain Huijsen, but all players in their squad have a price, especially in light of the club’s current financial struggles. The decision will ultimately come down to whether Spurs or Manchester United are willing to meet Juventus’ valuation for the talented defender.
