CONFIRMED: Tottenham set to battle Newcastle and Liverpool to offer lucrative contracts to top PL star set to join new club

A number of well-established Premier League stars are poised to enter free agency after the current season, and their contract statuses have not gone unnoticed.

Bournemouth standout Lloyd Kelly is a hot commodity as the summer transfer window approaches. The defender is in the final six months of his contract with the Cherries, and potential suitors are lining up in hopes of securing his services once he becomes a free agent.

Throughout the summer transfer window, Kelly was heavily linked with a move to Tottenham, with AC Milan also expressing interest in luring him away from the Vitality Stadium. However, Bournemouth stood firm in their stance that the defender was not for sale.

Instead, Bournemouth was eager for Kelly to stay with the team and be part of Andoni Iraola’s plans for the season, despite the lack of progress in his contract extension talks.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding his future, Kelly has continued to showcase his talents with impressive performances for Bournemouth. The 25-year-old has excelled as a center-back and also demonstrated his versatility with strong showings at left-back, catching the attention of potential suitors.

According to reports, Kelly will not be short of offers once his contract with Bournemouth expires in July, with Premier League teams and European clubs all interested in offering him a new contract. Newcastle and Spurs have both expressed interest in signing Kelly as a free agent, with Liverpool particularly eager to sign a left-sided center-back in the summer – considering Chelsea star Levi Colwill and Feyenoord’s David Hancko as well.

Kelly is weighing his options, with foreign clubs hoping the opportunity to play in Europe will sway negotiations in their favor. AC Milan is keeping tabs on his situation from their previous pursuit, but they face competition from other Serie A rivals in the race to secure his signature.

Napoli, AS Roma, and Juventus have all engaged in discussions with Kelly’s representatives to gauge their interest and learn more about his preferences if he decides to leave Bournemouth. However, the defender has yet to finalize his decision on his future and intends to wait until the end of the Premier League season before entering negotiations with any potential suitors.
