KANE’S REPLACEMENT: Spurs are actively seeking a high-profile replacement for Harry Kane

Spurs are reportedly intensifying their efforts to bring in a big-name striker during the upcoming summer transfer window, per Football Insider’s Pete O’Rourke. This comes after the departure of Harry Kane, who made a record-breaking move to Bayern Munich for nearly £100 million.

The report suggests that Tottenham is actively seeking an “A-list” forward to fill the void left by Kane, who had a spectacular career with the club, scoring 278 goals and providing 64 assists in over a decade.

Now, with the summer transfer window on the horizon, Spurs are on the lookout for a high-profile replacement and Brentford’s Ivan Toney has emerged as a top contender. Toney has been in fine form, scoring three goals in just four games since returning from an eight-month ban and was the third-highest scorer in the league last season.

While Toney’s experience in the Premier League and impressive goal-scoring record make him an ideal candidate, Spurs may face tough competition from other top clubs like Chelsea and Arsenal.
