Leeds’ recent form, where they have easily outclassed their opponents and scored 17 goals while only conceding one in their last seven games, gives Smith confidence in their ability to secure the automatic promotion place.
Though there may be twists and turns in the coming months, Smith believes that Leeds has the slight edge over Southampton in the battle for second place in the Championship.
