Estadio Deportivo reports that Sevilla is unable to complete the operation to sign Leicester City midfielder Boubakary Soumaré in the summer due to financial constraints. The €15m purchase clause in his loan deal cannot be activated as the club currently does not have the funds to do so. Sevilla is focused on restructuring the squad for the summer market and Soumaré is one of their targets, but the current financial difficulties make it impossible to sign him permanently. With a focus on lightening the squad and reducing large salaries, a permanent move for Soumaré would be complicated under the current circumstances. However, if the Leicester player makes an effort to facilitate the transfer, there might be a possibility for it to happen in the coming months.
